ABOUT US
The Charter Schools Fund is a collaborative initiative created to offer charter schools nationwide an opportunity to access top-tier health insurance benefits. Designed to serve the education sector, our fund helps charter schools across the country ensure their staff and students are covered by quality healthcare plans while maintaining financial stability.
NATIONAL PROGRAM
The Charter Schools Fund operates as a national program that allows each participating school to access customized health insurance coverage suited to their specific needs. We work together to ensure the health and well-being of those who make charter schools such vital parts of the education system.
MEDICAL
Members will have choices. There are several plan designs from which to choose, while having a choice of three different carrier networks. This flexibility is unique and exclusive to the Charter Schools Fund, and satisfies our membership more than a traditional health plan.
PRESCRIPTION
Our prescription plan options use CVS as the pharmacy benefit manager (PBM). As the largest PBM in the world, not only does the membership have access to CVS, but also to Walgreens, Walmart, Costco, Rite Aid, Kroger, Safeway, and many other individual and smaller pharmacies.
DENTAL
There is a variety of dental plans to choose from, which utilize Delta’s national network, and PPO plans which allow you to see any dentist you want.
VISION, LIFE, DISABILITY, ACCIDENT, CRITICAL ILLNESS
Choose from several “other” benefits options. Whether offered as an employer-paid benefit or voluntary, the membership is eligible to elect benefits such as vision, life, disability, accident, critical illness.
